Disaster Relief Fund for Haiti  Through the UUSC and the UUA

Contributions from individuals and congregations can be made by checks payable to “UUSC/UUA Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund” and mailed to UUSC, P.O. Box 844001, Boston, MA 02284-4001. 

Donations may also be made directly at the UUSC web site:  www.uusc.org .   

The Haitian Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (OCHA) estimates 2.2 million people are immediately affected in this nation of 9 million people. 

Both the UUSC site and the UUA site - www.uua.org – will carry updated stories about Haiti.

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) and the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) have launched a joint relief effort to bring aid to the impoverished island nation of Haiti in the wake of devastation wrought by the earthquake which struck the island on January 12, 2010.
