Adult Religious Education
Search for Truth and Meaning
Adult Religious Education is a facilitated process of exploration and dialogue in a safe environment, conducive to growth, using planned and prepared curricular resources to gain increased knowledge and understanding of oneself and the world.
The Adult RE Committee plans a schedule of varied and meaningful offerings for education, reflection, and social action that nurture UU identity and promote vital communities of justice. We provide some short-term, long-term, and ongoing offerings at various times so we can extend a welcoming environment for many interests.
Our Purpose and Mission in Adult RE is to foster an accepting community through shared experiences provided by programs designed to develop and enrich our emotional, spiritual, material, and/or intellectual lives. These programs include:
- Video and book discussions
- Chalice Circles
- Faith and leadership development classes
- and more
